More than anything else, it is important to make quality content enjoyable to read. Do you tell the same story as all those other websites or is your story unique? Do your photos and product descriptions come from your supplier's catalog or do you take the trouble to create your own material? Unfortunately, many online retailers use the product information from their suppliers' database. That information is cut and pasted or automatically loaded. Your competitors often do the exact same thing. So thousands of pages with exactly the same content are indexed. This does not get you much higher in the search results.

Google likes sites with lots of relevant information. The more and the more relevant to the keyword, the better. Many online shops have a large assortment with a separate product page for each product. You can then tell extensively about the product and use the product name regularly. Although it is time consuming, it is definitely worth it to write unique texts for your products yourself.

Stand out from the competition

Research what keywords competitors are using and what sites link to their site. On the one hand it is tempting to copy that behavior. However, almost no one is able to cover all relevant keywords, that would also make a web store very cluttered. Therefore, try to look for keywords and links that are very relevant to your own products and business. Do not necessarily try to outdo your competitor. Work from your own strengths!

Use Focus Keywords In The Content

Use focus keywords very deliberately! As much as possible, build the site's content from the most important keywords. If necessary, rewrite existing content and replace terms with relevant focus keywords. There is no exact number of times to include a keyword on a page. Often an indication of 6 out of 200 (keyword density of 3%) words is given. Use your common sense and above all write a pleasant readable text with the most relevant term from the keyword research as a basis. The visitor should also understand it!
