Still, we don't mind losing to a partner, We would rather see another partner win a contract than a third party selling a closed application (read: a product whose source code is not freely available). After all, every Open Source application sold increases the knowledge about Open Source software and will lead to more acceptance and more chances of follow-up orders for all partners.

A well-performing Open Source company is cheap advertising for open source software and therefore for other Open Source companies.
