Market conditions are favorable for Open Source companies

The market conditions are favorable. Especially in times of crisis. There is a lot of demand. We as Vicus rarely encounter our competitors in quotation processes. Market conditions are favorable for Open Source.

Still, we don't mind losing to a partner, We would rather see another partner win a contract than a third party selling a closed application (read: a product whose source code is not freely available). After all, every Open Source application sold increases the knowledge about Open Source software and will lead to more acceptance and more chances of follow-up orders for all partners.

High-performing Open Source companies are advertising Open Source software

We find that for many Open Source companies, it is true that they favor other Open Source companies. A well-performing Open Source company is cheap advertising for open source software and therefore for other Open Source companies. The more organizations choose an Open Source application, the more organizations will follow.

May we introduce ourselves? Vicus has been an Open Source service provider for 10 years. At your service!
