May 31 open day at Vicus big success

We had visitors from representatives of Stork, Albert Heijn, Berenschot, the municipality of Amersfoort but also various web shop owners, suppliers and partners of Vicus and partners, friends, acquaintances and family of employees. After the welcome with coffee and tea, director Luuk Roovers held an extensive presentation on the products and services of Vicus and the support that Vicus can provide to e-commerce organizations.

Particularly also focused on the success model for e-commerce and why the ROI of a CRM system is higher when implemented with Vicus' solutions. The main open source products supported by Vicus, vtiger CRM, Magento, Zen Cart and phpList, were also highlighted. Luuk Roovers said "actually we are just a system integrator, with an understanding of business processes and a strong focus on open source software as an important component within business processes".

There were questions from the audience about the future of Vicus, how Vicus deals with cloud computing and where Vicus' services end. Luuk Roovers apparently managed to satisfy the audience with his answers because the whole event was closed with a loud applause (or was that because of the announced drinks). Finally, it was time for a very lively reception where the visitors had plenty of time to get to know each other and the employees of Vicus. An added bonus is that our premises are now a pleasure to work in thanks to the many bunches of flowers and plants that our business relations have given us. We will keep the bottles of wine until after working hours.
