When it comes to illegal software use, Dutch companies are remarkably naive in coming up with excuses.
The slurs top five looks like this:
- 'I had no idea I was running this software.'
- 'I didn't know I wasn't allowed to copy this software.'
- 'We are currently taking stock of the software licenses.'
- 'This software is only installed on workstations that are not used or are hardly used at all.'
- 'More attention to illegal software was on the agenda, but it hasn't come yet.'
