Wouter Hol of Kabeltje.com told his story April 28. How did it come to be that as a 22-year-old he sends out hundreds of orders a day?
Wouter tells of the start. Boxes in the room at my parents' house. "They became less and less happy." Then it went via a purpose-built garden shed, a shed on an industrial estate to a modern warehouse at Nic.Oud. About his success Wouter says. Wouter and his colleagues worked their way steadily through the 5 phases for an e-commerce company over the past few years. In addition, the customer satisfaction is measured by an external agency and Kabeltje gets a 9.2 in a survey of 11,000 consumers. Wouter and his team can rightly be proud of these great results. You don't buy a cable because you like it or because you feel like it. You buy a cable because you need it. Without the cable no TV, no charged phone or no connection to the Internet! That's why you need the cable as soon as possible.
Snoobi with e-commerce tracking is used by Kabeltje to track in detail what is happening on the website and provide direction for continued growth. Kabeltje's staff and partners see in detail where potential problems are occurring and where improvements are needed for even more online sales.
Based on Critical Performance Indicators (KPIs), dashboards show how the online sales machine is working. The focus on KPIs varies by phase in the e-commerce success model.
The 4000m2 warehouse is full of cables that Kabeltje ships the same day. Nic.Oud handles the storage and processing of stock, order picking and shipping of Kabeltje.com orders. About thirty men work between 8:00 am and 10:30 pm to ensure that orders are processed as quickly as possible.
