Magento on shared first spot in Emerce 100

Out of the eight nominees in this category, Magento won shared first place. That Magento is a driving factor in e-commerce land has been known for years. As many as 28% of all webshops in the Netherlands are built with Magento web store software. In the new category of e-commerce agencies, as many as half are connected to Magento. Magento is also clearly present among full service providers (both large, and medium-sized).

According to Dutchento, with the advent of Magento 2 , the growth in the number of Magento-built Web stores is only expected to increase.
