Payconiq International is the new technology partner for iDEAL 2.0

The online payment method iDEAL is going to take its payment services to the next level. Currence, brand owner of iDEAL, is partnering with Payconiq International for this major upgrade of the most popular online payment method in the Netherlands. More than 900 million transactions are made with iDEAL each year. The new solution is based on Payconiq International's state-of-the-art payment platform which, among other things, optimizes payment flows for a seamless user experience (UX) and smoother integration for merchants.

The partnership will allow iDEAL to deploy Payconiq's innovative services, for example linking payments to digital loyalty programs. In addition, Payconiq International will handle the iDEAL payment flows in the Netherlands and develop an 'Application Programming Interface' (API) that allows merchants, banks and other service providers to connect to the new iDEAL platform. With this partnership, iDEAL and Payconiq International are shaping the future of online and mobile payments in the Netherlands.
