Yesterday installed the latest version of Piwik (version 1.7) in our production environment (yes, yes first extensively tested of course). A nice Open Source Web Analytics tool. I am getting more and more enthusiastic about it.
In addition to increasingly beautiful charts, they are also firmly implementing ecommerce tracking. Soon they will be flying past tools like Google Analytics. A major advantage of Piwik over other online tools is that Piwik can simply be installed within one's own account! So the data does not go to Google! Another advantage is that custom plug-ins can be developed (like, for example, my recent build to make Cross Site traffic visible). But also an integration with CRM to integrate the Web Analytics with customer profiles and social media, sales and marketing information is not far away as far as I am concerned!
