About Sooqr
Sooqr was founded in 2011 as part of a web company in Hilversum, the heart of all major media in the Netherlands. We always had the same problem: we just couldn't find what we were looking for on websites. One of our customers also had the same problem in his web store. That's why we started thinking about site search, and we discovered that about 95% of the searches offered were not what you would expect, to say the least. So our new mission was: make site search great! And that's just what we did. Over the past few years we've been working on the interface, customizing and a lot of smart stuff in the background with two main goals: to stay fast and to stay in everything we do.
Sooqr the interface is the most amazing interface in the business. And we decided that we wanted to keep it that way. So we are always expanding our services. In 2015, it grew Sooqr from a product to a company, with its own team, office and customers so we can focus on what we do best: making site search amazing.
